Kim-pictureKimberly is a two-time Emmy© award-winning host and television personality. She brings more than 20 years of broadcast journalism experience to the Sheriff's Office.

 Kimberly was a familiar face in local and national news working for CBS and NBC network affiliates NBC San Diego/KNSD and News8/KFMB. Her wealth of experience made her a beloved motivational speaker and host of many community events.

 Kimberly transitioned from her broadcast career to devote time to her family, raising her children, and caring for her parents during their illnesses. She is a dedicated advocate for Alzheimer’s awareness in honor of her mother and a fervent supporter of pancreatic cancer research in memory of her father.

 Kimberly also founded and operated her own PR/Media company. Drawing upon her successful television news career, she provided comprehensive services including public relations, media training, branding, thought leadership, video production, photography, crisis management, and social media strategy. Her work has garnered local, national, and global recognition for her clients.

 She hails from a family dedicated to public service. Her husband, son and daughter have all proudly taken the oath of service before self. She feels privileged to join them in serving our communities.

 With her role as Media Relations Director, Kimberly aims to foster a stronger connection with our communities by highlighting the dedication, bravery and compassion of those who serve, as well as the commendable work being done daily in the Sheriff's Office to keep everyone safe.
