Responder Ready: Public Safety Communications Academy
Every Saturday from 8:00 a.m. to noon
October 12, 2024 – January 25, 2025
No classes on November 30, December 21, December 28 & January 4
County Operations Center, Kearny Mesa

What You'll Learn:

• How emergency calls are handled
• Inside tips from Sheriff's Emergency Dispatchers
• What it takes to make critical decisions
• Career opportunities

Who Should Join?

• At least 16 years old
• High school student with a minimum 2.0 GPA
• U.S. Citizen or Lawful Permanent Resident
• Provide recommendation from teacher, counselor, or other school staff
• Have permission of parent or legal guardian to attend
