The San Diego County Sheriff's Office annually assembles a Bail Bond Agency List. The list is posted in all our county detention facilities and on the Jail Information on our public website.
Applications will be accepted in April and November of each year. All agencies must resubmit their applications regardless of their current status on our list. Applications will be accepted for a period of 30 days, starting April 1, 2024, through April 30, 2024. The list will be published on June 2024. The submission process will open again on November 1, 2024, for a period of 30 days. The completed list will be published on January 2025.
Only one Bail Agency name/Doing Business As (DBA) listing per submission, not to exceed a total of four submissions. Requests can be submitted by clicking here, or by copying and pasting the link below to your browser: https://forms.office.com/g/YN69h1uqwM
Request(s) must contain the following accurate and complete information:
- Bail Bond Agency name/Doing Business As (DBA)
- License number and expiration date
- Valid business address and phone number for each agency to be listed as notated on the Department on Insurance
- One business agency name reflecting an office's main number.
- Up to three additional entries for the same company that reflect area code prefixes in the County of San Diego. The area code prefixes allowed are (619), (858), (760) or (442).
- Phone numbers may not be repeating and must be different from one another.
- Multiple DBA's with the same phone number will not be accepted.
- Name, phone number and email of contact agent
Inaccurate or incomplete information may jeopardize placement on the list.
The San Diego County Sheriff's Office - Bail Agency List will be listed in alphabetical order by Bail Bond Agency Name/DBA and will include county, city and telephone number information. The list will be posted in our county detention facilities and will also be available on the San Diego County Sheriff’s Office website.
Bail bonds must still be delivered in-person to any custody information office located at any San Diego County Sheriff's Office Detention Facility.
