Effective May 13, 2024, Notary services are available. If you request a Good Conduct Letter, you may request to have it notarized for $15 per signature.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on June 14, 2022, the Board of Supervisors of the County of San Diego approved to amend County Ordinance Chapter 19 - Sheriff's Regulatory Fees Section 21.1901 of the San Diego County Code of Regulatory Ordinances, related to fees charged for services provided.
The new fees are effective as of July 14, 2022.
Please note, all fees are based on full cost recovery. Further, reviewing the fees every year will ensure our department maintains an acceptable revenue to properly and efficiently serve the public in a timely manner.

Fees can be paid by credit cards, cash, money order, certified check, or personal check if issued by a California bank. Please make checks payable to the "San Diego County Sheriff's Office." If paying by credit card, please note there is a $3.00 transaction fee for credit card payments. Cash and Debit cards ($2.50 transaction fee for debit cards) are accepted in person only.
